We host our "All-Comers Fully Welcome Meet" on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. To attend please get in touch using info@deliberativedemocracy.net
Those thinking about joining a zoom may be happy to read about our first Campaign, "The PreConditionPolicy Initiative", before the meeting. An explanatory paper about the initiative is available for download in English, German and Greek via the Campaigning or the Download page, but please note - if you have had a good look across this website then we hope you will already have a useful understanding of our general purposes and progress.
As of May 2024 - DeliberativeDemocracy.Net is a new domain, and DDNetworkers are a new group.
While the Campaigning Tab lists our first initiative - and everyone is invited to make common cause - underpinning works are also ongoing. In particular -
as a transnational networking and campaigning organisation, enabling basic communication across language barriers is essential. Help with translations of "The PreConditionPolicy Initiative" explanatory paper and the article series "Bürgerräte weiterdenken" is needed - these papers outline how Democracies may be re-structured as a fundamental prerequisite for a good shared future.
The first document is currently available in English, German and Greek, and the latter just in German. Translations into the 10 most spoken languages including, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, French, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian and Urdu are unfulfilled hope and intention - if you feel you can help with translation, perhaps into your own first language, please get in touch.
Building a Deliberative Democracy "Advocates List" - help is needed to establish connections and seek endorsement from organisations advocating for Deliberative Democracy to strengthen campaigning capacities for all groups.
Howsoever any reader may wish to join in the collective push for a good future, very much including just listening into an All Comers Zoom, all are welcome to get in touch at info@deliberativedemocracy.net
We are interdependent - everybody is needed.
